I believe in the value of transparency, as pertains to the death of lies between company and consumer.  However, I also agree that I neither need nor want to know EVERYTHING about said company.

As you&#039;ve said, just like a happy couple needs to balance the known and the unknown, so too must companies and consumers (or artists and audiences, etc.) know where the veil of secrecy is best left intact.

Let&#039;s stop touting transparency and start engaging in &lt;i&gt;honesty&lt;/i&gt;.</description>
