In high school I worked as a photographer

During my junior and senior years of high school I got paid to take photos by an amazing organization that trains and employs inner-city Boston teens to provide a variety of tangible creative services for commercial clients, called Artists For Humanity. AFH clients include The Boston Globe, Bank of America, Google, Keds, Staples, and many many others. AFH artists not only help to execute the clients’ creative objectives in everything from web design to industrial design, from mural production to silkscreening, from fashion design to digital media, (and, of course, photography), they are, in fact, directly involved in client negotiations and meetings. Not bad for an inner-city high school job, huh?
